Clinical Proteomics is calling for submissions to our Collection on Glycoproteomics: Technologies and Clinical Applications. This Collection aims to explore the rapidly evolving field of glycoproteomics, focusing on the latest technological advancements and their clinical applications.

About the Collection

This Collection aims to explore the rapidly evolving field of glycoproteomics, focusing on the latest technological advancements and their clinical applications. Glycoproteomics, the study of glycosylated proteins, plays a crucial role in understanding various biological processes and disease mechanisms.

This Collection will cover a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:

• Innovative Technologies: Cutting-edge methods and tools for glycoprotein analysis, including mass spectrometry, bioinformatics approaches, and novel glycan labeling techniques.
• Protocols: Detailed description of protocols with or without video for glycoproteomic characterization of glycoproteins, including but not limited to glycopeptide enrichment, characterization of glycosylation sites, glycan preparation, quantitation strategy, glycopeptide/glycan separation, mass spectrometry analysis, or data analysis.
• Clinical Applications: The role of glycoproteomics in disease diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy, with a particular emphasis on cancer, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders.
• Biomarker Discovery: Identification and validation of glycoprotein biomarkers for early detection and monitoring of diseases.
• Functional Glycoproteomics: Insights into the functional roles of glycoproteins in cellular processes and their implications in health and disease.
• Therapeutic Development: Advances in glycoprotein-based therapeutics and their potential in personalized medicine.
• Review/perspectives: Review or perspective articles on glycoproteomics.

We invite researchers and clinicians to contribute original research articles, protocols, perspectives, and reviews that highlight the advances and transformative impacts of glycoproteomics on modern medicine.
